Terence Reilly
was born in Corracar, Carrigallen in County Leitrim in1838.
He emigrated to New York in1860 and enlisted on August 1, 1860.
He was in Batteries "B"and "D"of the 4th Artillery
(serving under Frederick Follett)
and Battery "B" of the 1st and 3rd Artillery.

During the Civil War he was in the following actions:

Franklin, VA 10-3 and 31-1862,
Isle of Wright, VA 11-19-1862,
Deserted House, VA 1-30-1863,
Siege of Suffolk, VA from 4-10 to 5-3-1863,
Edenton Road, VA 4-24-1863,
Windson, VA 5-29-1863,
Franklin, VA 6-19-1863,
Walthall Junction, VA May 1864,
Petersburgh, VA 5-9-1864
and the taking of Richmond, VA 4-3-1865.

His military records say he was wounded in action 3 times
and served with distinction.
He retired from the service on April 15, 1893. -(3)



Roddy Rinn
    He was born in Annaduff, Co. Leitrim.
He volunteered in September, 1862, for service with the
170th Infantry Regiment, Co. C.
He served as a Teamster and Ambulance Driver, and was
stationed in the Washington D.C. area.
He was mustered out on July 15, 1865,
and died on July 29, 1894. -(3)
