Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
QUESTION:
Why do I get a message from "postmaster" about my "mail quota limit" when using Tellurian Webmail?
POSSIBLE SOLUTION(S):
You have too many previously deleted e-mail messages in the Webmail "Deleted Items" folder you need to permanently delete those messages and change your options.
To Permanently Delete All Previously Deleted Messages:
- Log into Tellurian Webmail - webmail.tellurian.com
- Go to Folders in the left side navigation area and then into the Deleted Items folder.
- Delete all previously deleted messages in this folder by checking the box next to each message and clicking the "Delete Selected" button; on the Confirm screen, click "Delete Selected" again to permanently delete these messsages. Tip: click the white "X" in the first column to check all the boxes at one time.
- All previously deleted e-mail messages have been permanently deleted and you should get a message from the Tellurian "postmaster" informing you that your mail quota limit is back to normal.
To Change Your Webmail Options to Prevent This From Reoccurring:
- Log into Tellurian Webmail - webmail.tellurian.com
- Go to Options in the left side navigation area and then into Preferences.
- Uncheck the box "Send deleted messages to 'Deleted Items' folder".
- Click the "Update Preferences" button at the bottom of the page to save this change.
